Mario Daić is a name that has just emerged the burgeoning house and techno scene.
The Germany-based producer kickstarted his remarkable rise with a Remix on the musiclabel called Creators in 2020 which get played several times by Music On Boss: Marco Carola. The ‚Sometimes in My Mind EP’ put a marker down both on You Tube as well and get shared from the dance community „Party Tech Mood“ which has provided the service for „it´s all about the music“ before.
In 2022 he get supported again by M. Carola with his EDIT „Everywhere You Go“ in places like Space Miami, Bonbonniere Tulum, Nebula New York, Soho Garden Dubai, Super Club Peru, Pacha Ibiza, Blue Marlin Ibiza, Shelter Amsterdam and on the afterparty of Carolas Birthday at Orange Yard Soho in London and many more places around the globe. This track is one of the most played tracks of Marco Carola and reached almost 40,000 plays on soundcloud.
Picking up steam, Mario Daić received the firm backing of industry stalwarts Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, wAFF, Dennis Cruz, Stefano Noferini. Further to that, he can also call upon the likes of Adam Beyer, Pan-Pot, Tomi&Kesh as staunch supporters. These early successes further cementing the feeling that Mario Daić is a producer destined to make a lasting impact.
In 2022 Mario started his new eventseria and music label, called „Melted“ in Croatia on the stunning rooftop of the new Amphora Hotel in Split in July 2022 and also in the southwest area of Germany in the city Karlsruhe. Mario Daic’s signature sound: old school, minimal vibe with inventive groovy tech house – is decisively made for the dance-floor.
As a DJ he lays down carefully curated and atmospheric sets. The producer identifies with also being a DJ in the most natural, traditional sense: he makes music which he feel to play out and share with a crowd. Mario regularly performs at esteemed sets around Europe and held a much talked about residency at one of Germanys biggest Festivals „Nature One Pydna“ in Pydna throughout 2015 till now.
He opens the festival every year on Thursday in front of more than 12,000 people. But also outside of Germany he has already played in many countries like at the BPM Festival in Mexico, on a afterparty in the famous S.O.S Rooftop in 2014. Then again in Mexico in 2021 with Luciano and Neverdogs in the Isla Blanca Villa and in 2022 several times in Tulum, Mexico and Guadalajara. Other countries which are also on his list are: Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, France, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland.
Alongside all of this, Mario was a resident of the famous Club named Loft in Ludwigshafen which was one of the places to be around Mannheim. The Loft Club was owned by the Organisators of Time Warp, SONUS in Croatia and the Love Family Park. Sadly the club shut down in 2020 because of Covid & lease problems with the place.
Mario Daić is one DJ who is letting quality records do all the talking and at the outset of 2022, few are coming close to his consistency and indisputable calibre of his productions. With plenty more planned for 2023 and beyond, Mario and his team have a lot in store to extend their impact on the musical landscape and industry.
